POSITION

We're on the lookout for a JUNIOR PRODUCT DEVELOPER to join our Amsterdam-based fashion brand. As a key member of our team, you'll drive the development of our products, ensuring they align with our brand's vision and meet market demands. From sourcing materials to overseeing production, you'll play a key role in maintaining quality and innovation. You will be responsible for:

• Collaborate with the womens design team to develop womenswear collections aligned with brand vision and market trends.
• Manage product development process from concept to production, ensuring timely delivery and quality standards.
• Source materials and trims, negotiate pricing, and maintain relationships with suppliers.
• Conduct fit sessions and garment assessments to ensure product meets brand standards and customer expectations.
• Responsible for reaching requested margins and have an understanding of different components of costs
• Communicate with cross-functional teams, including design, merchandising, and production, to coordinate product development efforts.
• Monitor and analyse sales data and customer feedback to inform future product iterations and improvements.

YOU:

 • Bachelor's degree in Fashion Design, Merchandising, or related field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in womenswear product development within the fashion industry.
• Strong understanding of womenswear market trends, consumer preferences, and product lifecycle.
• Proficiency in product development processes, including sourcing, costing, and manufacturing.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
• Detail-oriented with a focus on quality and craftsmanship.
• Strong problem-solving skills with a solution-oriented approach and a proactive ‘can-do’ attitude.
• Familiarity with garment construction, fit, and sizing standards.Ability to work efficiently under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
