Inspired by an MIT research in plant NANABIONICS that created plants that glow we are exploring the future of one of our main components of SS20: FLOWERS. Together with artist CHRIS KORE we envision three ways of evolution.

HYBRID SPECIES. Thanks to globalisation and an ever shrinking world hybrid flowers started to form out in nature. PROTECTIVE FILM. Over the years they developed a layer of glossy film around them creating a protective layer. GLOWING. To survive colder climates and winters some flowers developed a small source of warmth, emitting light shimmers in the dark.
